Mancora is located some 1,200 km (800 miles) north of Lima close to the border with Ecuador. There are daily flights to both Tumbes and Piura (and sometimes Talara) and from both towns there are taxis to take you directly to Mancora. The flying time is approximately one and half hours and the taxi journey from Tumbes is about 90 minutes and from Piura just over two hours. An alternative to flying is to take a luxury overnight non stop bus from Lima to Mancora. Yet another alternative for international visitors, and especially those who are visiting the Galapagos Islands is to fly to Guayaquil in Ecuador and then go by road to Mancora. The road journey takes approximately five hours.

La Casita de Sueños is located at Las Pocitas which is some four kilometres from the small town of Mancora. There is an abundant supply of motortaxis which will ferry you between Mancora and Las Pocitas for less than US$1.
